How I made this restaurant style thick pizza crust recipe:

It is vital for me to save time, and so I have discovered a way that I can save time while being in the kitchen. This restaurant style thick pizza crust recipe takes me less than 5 minutes to prep, using appliances to help the process. You can use either a bread maker or an electrical mixer to help the process be shorter for you.

Firstly, I place the water, yeast and sugar into my bread mixer so that it can stay warm. When the yeast has broken up, I will take it out, and quickly add the flour, salt and olive oil.

The next thing I do is to tell my bread mixer to mix the thick pizza crust on the dough setting for about 7-10 minutes, until it has mixed thoroughly. This is important to get the restaurant style pizza. In that time, I go and do something else.

When the pizza crust’s dough is ready to rise, I spray a pan with a cook and spray solution, put the dough in, add a lid that I have also sprayed, and add the pizza crust into the oven. I switch the oven on to 175 degrees Farenheit until it’s reached it. I then switch off the oven and let the door open slightly. This keeps the heat in, and the pizza crust’s dough can rise in a warm environment.

Once that is done, I will preheat my oven to 375 degrees after I’ve taken out the pizza crust dough. I will also cook and spray a pizza pan. I then quickly pound down the dough to it’s original size, put it on the pizza pan and stretch it out to the sides. This is quite a process to get the thick pizza crust dough stretched out. I then punch holes with a fork into the pizza crust and add it back into the oven, for 5 minutes to bake. Putting it back into the oven to bake is crucial to give that Restaurant Style Thick Pizza Crust effect. I found that if you follow the original recipe and put the pizza toppings onto the pizza crust straight away, you end up with a soggy, unbaked crust.

Once the thick pizza crust has baked for five minutes, I add my toppings and put it back into the oven for another five minutes. The end result is a Restaurant Style, Thick Pizza Crust Recipe, ideal for a fun party or Friday night at home!
